Top five talents Thon Maker of The Carlisle School and Jayson Tatum of Chaminade headline the 2016 contingent (Evan Daniels of Scout.com reported that Maker was considering a jump to the 2015 class over the weekend).
The highlight of the 2014 Spalding Hoophall Classic was a dramatic 73-69 win for Curie (Chicago) over then-No. 1 Montverde Academy. The game was televised by ESPNU and Kansas-bound Cliff Alexander completely took over late in the contest, finishing with 30 points and 13 rebounds.
Due to eligibility issues, Curie later forfeited the victory.
